Ohio State DT Haskell Garrett Shot in the Face

Ohio State defensive tackle Haskell Garrett was shot early Sunday morning according to the authorities.
He is a senior for the Buckeyes and was projected to be a starting defensive tackle this fall before the season was canceled by the Big Ten Conference due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Garrette was found in an apartment with a gunshot wound through both cheeks, police said. Blood and a gun shell were seen in the street, and a trail of blood led to the apartment, which is located about a half-mile away from the scene.
The incident was called into police at 12:28 a.m. ET Sunday. Columbus police said (via ESPN) Garrett was taken to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and is currently in a stable condition.

The Columbus police department has not released any information about a suspect and is not providing any other information about the shooting at this time.
