NFL players; DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar in Jail on armed robbery charges

New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar have turned themselves to the Broward County Jail . This is to placate arrest warrants in connection to an alleged robbery in Miramar, Florida, this week. Nevertheless, the NFL can’t seem to get out of the news nor is this time particularly for the best reasons.

As expected, attorneys representing both players have said they possess affidavits clearing their client’s names. In spite of the affidavits the Miramar Police Department insisted on both players turning themselves in and also, welcomed all witnesses to add or change their statements.

As of Saturday morning, the police said none of the victims or witnesses had withdrawn their stories. It was confirmed by Grieco (Dunbar’s attorney) that the police affirms perjury charges for witnesses that are found wanting in any of their statements to police.

“We believe our client is innocent of all charges,” Cohen said, urging people not to rush to a conclusion. We have affidavits from several witnesses that exonerate my client.”

With an Instagram post, Cohen confirmed that Baker turned himself in – “He is a believer in the system”; he wrote.

Dunbar and Baker have been accused of stealing money and watches with force and by the use of dangerous firearms which was said to happen at a party on Wednesday night .

Multiple witnesses stated that Baker ordered a person wearing a red mask to shoot an individual who just entered the party.

The accused were both charged on four counts of armed robbery with a dangerous firearm. With, Baker having additional charges of four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Furthermore the Miramar Police Department reiterated that Baker or Dunbar do not get treated differently from any other suspect.
